My first purchase from DT Performance arrived today, and it definitely won’t be my last. I am an experienced collector, and I have to say that the time, care and attention to detail that has gone into the preparation of this car is absolutely second to none.
The car has tremendous provenance and was carefully procured, but what they have done to it in their preparation process is very special - to the extent that I have just booked another one of my cars in for the same treatment.
These guys are not just a garage or dealer, they are motor enthusiasts themselves and it shows.
Communication was fantastic the whole way through, and I can’t recommend Tom and the team highly enough. Thank you guys, 10/10 from me.

Hi Guys so I fortunately came across Dan when I was looking for an Aston Martin DB9, I agreed a part exchange and drove to the unit and have to say I was not disappointed and Dan was as good as his word on the PX. Overall a great experience, dealing with Dan who loves and knows his cars, no pressure selling and dealing with an honest family business. Winding on I have sold two decent cars to Dan who again did not mess around collected and paid for the cars on collections. I have since recommended Dan to others who have also had a positive experience. Winding the clock forward to today, I have had just concluded a purchase of a lovely Bentley Continental GTC, this time I dealt with Tom who was equally attentive, professional and courteous. Finance was simple to arrange. I have to say the presentation and attention to detail is very good and would put many main dealers to shame. Just want to start by saying a massive thanks to Dan and the team again! Bought a BMW 335i from Dan a few months back now. Unfortunately within a couple of weeks the engine management light came on and had a rough idle. I took it to a local garage who diagnosed it as the Vanos solenoids. They quoted the work and phoned the warranty company (which came complimentary with the purchase of the car). Unfortunately warranty wouldn’t cover it meaning I was left with a £750 bill... after a phone call to Dan, the work was authorised, carried out and paid in full by himself! A week later the car broke down again, this time due to a massive mistake by the garage who repaired it.. after numerous phone calls back and forth between myself, Dan and the garage, the car was taken up to an engine specialist local to Dans garage. It then underwent a full engine rebuild, with numerous new parts including the crankshaft, con rod, oil pump and seals.. during this time dan was in full contact with me, giving me updates and even pictures of the work that was carried out. Unfortunately for Dan, they were unable to categorically prove the garage was at fault so had to again pay the bill for the engine build, which as you can imagine was in the thousands. Not once did Dan ever hesitate in what needed to be done and within a few weeks the car was back in my hands and running perfect. I can safely say there are not many garages out there with such a high level of professionalism! Nothing was ever too much trouble for Dan and the team! I shall definitely be back to purchase my next car from them! Thanks again!!

Your professionalism and assistance throughout has been exemplary. What true old fashioned personal service used to be all about, sadly lacking in some other areas of industry today.

A heartfelt thanks to all the Tranter family for making this one of the most enjoyable and satisfying purchases to date. From picking me up from the station, a welcoming cup of coffee, meeting your Dad and then getting to see the car, presented in excellent condition, was an experience I look forward to repeating a few years from now for the car of MY dreams.

DT Performance Cars were a real pleasure to deal with, assisting with organising insurance at the eleventh hour was invaluable and a life saver. Vanda really was getting wound up, as only Hungarian 20 somethings can, when her current insurance company could not accommodate her new car. Dan rescued the situation by recommending A Plan Insurance of Macclesfield. Emma at A Plan did a remarkably quick job of sorting out fully comp insurance, with breakdown cover, coming in under budget and organised in half an hour. Vanda's patience was wearing thin with the frustration of having to watch me drive ! Her resolve to stop smoking, the whole reason for her getting this car, as well as her birthday, was being worn down. When Emma said yes, you are now covered, I was unceremoniously pushed out of the drivers seat - for good.

Once again thanks for all your help in making my 24 year old step daughter a very happy lady !

How refreshing to deal with a motor trader who is not only enthusiastic and genuinely interested in the cars he buys, but is also fair and realistic with both his pricing and negotiation, all combined with completing the transaction quickly and efficiently.
I sold my high mileage E61 BMW M5 Touring to these guys and Dan was quick to respond once it was on sale online and was as good as his word, even though I wanted at least a weekend to entertain other viewers/offers.
He recognised the pedigree of the car, it’s condition and specification such that he was prepared to pay significantly more than the usual rubbish trade offers I’d experienced prior and close enough to my reasonable asking price.
In essence I had the car sold to him in only hours of advertising it and the money in my bank account within minutes when he collected it.
